Where did 2014 go to?

Where did 2014 go to?

Well.. looks like I can’t stick to a schedule save my life as far as blogging goes. I am a bit behind but that’s okay. Start fresh. Begin here. Its all good.

The last year has been a little intense. I’ve moved, built a new computer, went to a world class level Starcraft 2 tournament. Where did the time go?

In the spring my parents drove all the way from back home to come out and see me. It was great to see them and to have a chance to show them around Toronto. That was one Major thing that happened. We had a chance to go to Niagra Falls, which neither my mom or my step dad had been able to see before. It was a little rainy, but we had a great time.

The Starcraft Tournament happened at the same time that FanExpo was in town. It was amazing to see all the nerds and geeks come out in mass. The tournament was amazing. I got to shake hands with many of my favorite pro players. (Teaja included). Which was.. Beyond what I could say. I got to meet many of the casters that I have been a fan of, and it was great to sit down and talk to them. I can’t wait for the next one. You can see the photos that I took via my flickr account.

The new computer is amazing, and the new apartment is even better. I didn’t move very far (down one floor), which made the move quick and easy. Took a total of four hours. Including tear down, move, set up and clean up the old place.

As far as Toronto in general? I had a great summer. Got to see some new areas, check out a baseball game, and taste tons of new types of food. I really do love this city, and don’t see myself leaving any time soon. I look forward to seeing what the next year will bring.
